기타리스트 김인후를 중심으로 2021년에 결성. 베이시스트 신정수(현 탈퇴), 드러머 권범섭 3인의 연주자로 구성되어있으며 컨템포러리 재즈를 지향한다. 

동아시아의 옛 풍습 중 가뭄이 들때 기우제를 열면 비를 내리는 권능을 가진 청룡이 나타나 풍작이 되길 염원하는 것에서 모티브를 삼아 팀명을 만들었으며

청중들에게 그리고 연주를 하는 당사자들에게도 삶의 활력을 주고받는 사람들"청룡의 사람들"(청룡당/Emerald Dragon Clan)의 바람을 담아 팀명을 만들었다.
 

2024년에 첫 정규 1집 "Street Jazz Man"을 발매 하였으며 2026년 4월 20일 곡우날 정규 2집 "Cintamani"가 발매 예정이다.

Formed in 2021 around guitarist Inhoo Kim, E.D.C is a contemporary jazz trio consisting of drummer Beomseop Kwon and former bassist Jeongsu Shin.

 

The team's name is inspired by the ancient East Asian tradition of holding rainmaking rituals during droughts,

 

where the Blue Dragon (Emerald Dragon)—a deity with the power to summon rain—appears to grant wishes for a bountiful harvest. Reflecting this motif, the

 

name carries the vision of the "People of the Blue Dragon" (Cheong-ryong-dang),

 

who aim to exchange life’s vitality and energy with their audience through music.

 

Following the release of their first full-length album, "Street Jazz Man," in 2024,

 

E.D.C is set to release their second studio album, "Cintamani," on April 20, 2026, coinciding with the seasonal day of Gokwoo (Grain Rain).
